The Canadian Crystal

Canadian Crystal is a major fundraising event for the Limestone Learning Foundation.  This three-act extravaganza is set against the backdrop of Canada's 150.  A three-act extravaganza featuring canapés, auctions, live music, and dancing Saturday, November 4, 2017 at the Isabel Bader Centre for the Performing Arts in Kingston, Ontario.

The highlight of the evening will be an all-Canadian concert -- a 75-minute multi-media event, featuring original music and other Canadian classics, performed by 35 student vocalists, in grades 7-12, from across the Limestone District School Board.

The Gala will occur in three Acts:

Act I: Truth North 6:00 PM

The doors open to a mix and mingle with canapés served until 7:30. LLF funded student projects will be on display along with online auction items. The auction items on display may be bid on at MaxSold.com starting October 25.

Act II: Oh, Canada! A Musical Journey 8:00 PM

An all-Canadian concert with a mix of original and Canadian classics from across the charts starting from the 60s to present.  Students will be joined by a band of alumni from the Limestone District School Board (LDSB), led by local professional musicians Greg Runions, Tim Stiff, Alex Mundy-Abrams and John Abrams.

Act III: Strong & Free 9:15 PM

Dessert is served. Guests will dance to Lil Magic and the Wise fronted by Reid Cunningham a graduate of the Limestone District School Board.
